Pilot whales vs small sailing boat - The Sailing Frenchman

After sailing for a few days singlehanded, I encounter this huge pod of pilot whales who followed me for 3 hours playing under the boat.

When playing Rone, was the volume cranked up? Did you play it below so it was vibrating against the hull or, out in open air? This is truly amazing to me and worth trying to repeat.
