Building a strong retaining wall (video #2)

In this video I finally get to do the demolition of the old timber retaining wall with the Caterpillar 302.5 mini excavator.

Out was very satisfying and rewarding to see that all this old rotten wood will be gone for ever. The new wall will never rot like the old timber walls do.

This timber retaining wall is old and full of bugs. It’s time to replace it with VERSA-LOK retaining wall. I will be using the “Standard” 6 inch high by 16 inch long concrete blocks.

This will be a multiple video series showing the entire process from day one till completion.
