It's great that he's admired them for so long and respects them.
I feel the same way about many of their songs are like old friends that I never tire of. Too many to mention here.
I'm ordering the deluxe version, more songs.

Been a fan since 1983 met them in Hollywood, Simon in CapeTown waterfront South Africa.I have a house in North Hollywood and would talk to John, Steve Jones, Duff McKeegan, Matt Sorum At The Viper Room .I saw them in the Hotel Vancouver as well .

Amazing!!! The Reflex 12" version was my very first remix too, and I used to play it over and over since it was the only one I could get at that time and my entire family hated me, haha! What a nice surprise to have that in common with Mr. Alkan! ;-)

My first record that I owned, CD at 11 years old... was Duran duran. Interesting to consider it that way - that they set my expectations for what a record is. I dive in so much deeper into music now than I did then. It's a quality choice.

I played that 12” over and over so many times. My Mom used to come down the hall and bang on my door because she HATED the “why-yi-yi-yi-yi” part and now it was EXTENDED! Hahaha 🤣 !!!
