Hike gone Wrong and VERY SCARY Encounter (We were in Danger!)

Please Read:
This video is NOT a Joke!. This was NOT staged in any way whatsoever. We were hot, tired and sweaty and just wanted to make our way back to Bridgette's car back at the trailhead, when we were both stopped in our tracks by a deep, menacing growl just off trail while hiking back to the car. This was a REAL encounter with what, (Bridgette and I believe), was our very first Bigfoot encounter. I have personally always been on the fence regarding if Bigfoot was even a real creature, but after this VERY scary encounter, I DO NOT doubt the existence of this creature anymore. Bridgette and I will be going LIVE this Sunday, July 2nd at 1 PM EST to discuss this incident in great detail. ALL future Hikes are suspended until further notice.

As I am Older--77 years young with much more Knowledge, I never go into the Woods without Packing a Decent Caliber Weapon, sometimes I have two on me--Drugheads and Cryptids do exist in every state including Hawaii...

I have had the same experience. I was on a dirt road at a resort in the middle of the woods on Alder Lake in Manitowish Water in Northern Wisconsin. A group of us took bikes out and were riding them down the dirt road. We were surrounded by similar woods. I had gotten behind from the group. I'm peddling along and suddenly I hear this LOUD DEEP GROWL behind me. I got accused of hearing a bear. This was not a bear. The best description I can give it is a huge Ape growling at me. I did not have time to look back and see what it was. I yell I 'm go'n. Lol. I still get chills thinking about what I heard. What ever it was it was threatening me. It did not like me there at all. I now believe in Big Foot. We stayed there for a week. I wouldnt even go out at night and I didnt take any more hikes or bike rides in those woods. This thing was huge. You could tell by the power in its growl. VERY EVIL SOUNDING, also. If your gonna hike in those woods you best be carrying a weapon and it wouldnt hurt to carry your Bible, also! Just say'n!

Don't care what anyone says about me, that growling or w/e is why I've always and will continue to always carry while in the woods. I grew up in the woods and I've had a couple encounters I will not have again empty handed.

I'm from nearby Jamestown and my wife and I travel the forest roads.
We been to this location and it as you say, Beautiful and Peaceful.
I'm also familiar with sawmill run road and the curve you mentioned.
In 1980 my sister was killed there when she fell from the back of a pickup truck while out with friends for a weekend of camping.
The driver tried to blame his mother and he was never even charged for being intoxicated at the time of the accident.
True story.

I love how secluded this area is, gorgeous scenery. The lime green color stands out. Just stress free, relaxing beautiful hike.

I think you may be an alarmist. The title doesnt match this video. Nothing happened. No encounter. A growl?..okie dokie..

We saw a 7 foot albino squatch yesterday at a local disc golf course that borders a woods. We followed the almost 20” tracks that were cast in a light snow until they completely disappeared near a large hollow tree! I can’t stop thinking about it and wonder if it lives underground as the hollowed out tree seems to lead to an underground cave! Way too cold to go any farther and it was starting to get dark. Didn’t want to get stuck in the middle of the woods bc it gets dark fast here this time of year! I wanted to go back today but my gut feeling wasn’t great. I heard a couple other people around here have seen the same thing and now I believe it! Been watching videos like this all day and can’t stop thinking about what we saw!!!

My husband and I camped for years & loved it until our last experience. It was the end of July (back in 2018 I believe) and I was attacked by hundreds of mosquitos. Ended up with a terrible fever, fell asleep for a few hours in our tent, woke up sweating (from both the fever breaking and the 110 degree humidity) packed up and haven’t gone back since. I miss it terribly and can’t wait to get back out there. Worst thing we’ve ever encountered ourselves was a lone black bear roaming the campground but thankfully we didn’t have an interaction with it and were warned ahead of time by a family of 4 (2 parents with 2 little ones who happened to be eating at their picnic table when the bear mosied over and not so kindly ravaged their setup). My worst fear, tho, is and always will be human kind.

I’m sorry guys. I would never hike or camp in the forest. It’s crazy scary spooky anything can happen. You guys are brave. Keep safe. ❤

While watching the video I did some checking on the AllTrails app. They stated that the section of the Cusimano trail from Rt 474 to Eggleston Hill Rd is approximately 4.5 miles. Were you somewhere within that section? Also, what was the dog doing when you heard the noise? I’m surprised it didn’t sense that something was up.
