ᴴᴰ⁶⁰ NYTM R1-9 & R32 Action @ Broad Channel & Rockaway Blvd - Rockaways by Rail Excursion 2023

As part of their annual Summer Nostalgia Rides, the New York Transit Museum brought out the R1-9 "Arnines" and the recently retired and preserved R32 "Brightliners" out to the Rockaways for people that bought the tickets on the NYTM website. The R1-9s ran from 96 Street-2 Avenue on the (Q) to Rockaway Park-Beach 116th Street station, while the R32s were running between Rockaway Park and Rockaway Blvd for those who wanted extra rides rather than going to the beach. At 3pm, both trains ran back to 96th Street-2 Avenue, however, the R32 made some stops in between. After that, they would deadhead back to Rockaway Park Yard before returning the fleet back to where they belonged the next day.

As a bonus, R211A 4085-89 + 4095-99 entered service on August 3rd, so here's some footage of that. Enjoy!
