In this episode, I get real with you about my own journey of learning to reconnect with my emotions after years of unintentionally shutting them out. Ever catch yourself staying busy to avoid facing tough emotions? We've all been there! I'll talk about why that's a common defense mechanism and how it can hold us back from truly experiencing life's highs and lows.

I'm all about finding inspiration everywhere, even in nature! 🌿 I share some fascinating insights into how animals process traumatic experiences, hinting at the importance of releasing emotions rather than bottling them up. 🐾

But fear not, my friends! I'm not just here to chat about problems - I've got solutions, too! I'll dish out some practical tips, like giving yourself permission for an "adult temper tantrum" in a safe space. Because guess what? Expressing your emotions is key to unlocking a happier, more authentic life! 🗝️

So, if you're ready to embrace your humanness, join me on this journey of self-discovery and growth! Don't forget to spread the love by sharing this episode with your fellow humans who could use a little mindset boost.

i had so much on my mind and i did keep letting out little by little but like today it was so much and it was honestly distracting me from my work and i thought i should let it out once and for all and i did it. i screamed as loud as i could in the pillow and i was screaming at the wall and i cried i threw a tantrum just shouting and after it i feel SO MUCH MORE better because i had so much in me and i JUST figured it out. thank you so so muuch rob. thank you for like all of it.

This was excellent.

You have to feel to heal and I will add because I am a life and holistic health coach that getting these feelings out is important in so many ways.

If they stay in then we get into a “dis” ease state and leads to disease.

This is the essence of why so many people are stressed and sick. It’s not healthy to bottle things inside and in today’s world of so much speed and disconnection it’s so easy to do.

I grew up in so much trauma and used to say that I couldn’t feel. It’s still hard but I love that I’m not a robot and it’s ok to give myself patience and grace to explore this. I feel a lot more human and no amount of external things can replace that.

Thank you for this podcast. It was a gift. 🎁

I would like to ask you a question you said we need to feel the lowest of lows to feel the highest of highs.... but what if I just have a life with mostly just pain, struggle, life threatening issues with just a little highs that don't even last that long tbh.... what's the point of living such a life? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that it's a big ass shitshow with maybe a cute golden retriever comin in sometimes

What about those who really don't understand their own feeling or emotion all they express is their silence and absences
