I've been going for 6 weeks or so... the changes I've seen in my body are tremendous. Everyone is literally at different fitness levels and we all kill it. If you've never been to the gym and listed weights you may be overwhelmed... but that should stop, the coaches are usually really helpful.

This review is a bit unfair. I would say it is difficult to review a place after one session. It's not very complicated and the situation where everyone is confused/chaos just does NOT happen from my experience. The f45's I have been to also allow fairly easy viewing of the monitors but I guess it depends on how the building is situated where you go. The monitors are required as it is difficult to remember all the workouts for a first timer. Once you have been a few times, its not really difficult. The f45 workouts are no joke. You will be tested and since there is limited time between stations, your heart rate will rise. You also get a full body workout (unless you select a workout that only concentrates on upper/lower). The full body workout is great. You will gain lean muscle, flexibility, lose body fat, and gain endurance. If you are looking to go to a gym, work on one body part, stand around 5 min to let your heart rate come down and get comfortable before you do the next thing, f45 is not for you. I think f45 is a good hybrid of not paying for a personal trainer but having someone guide you and make sure you are doing the sets with correct form. You will most definitely be sore until you get in shape.

Perfect explanation. I left my first class feeling overwhelmed and my knees were swollen. It was chaotic and the trainer stressed me out. I workout 4-6 days a week otherwise. F45 isn’t for me.

Honestly I've noticed I can't do those high intensity cardio workouts without feeling like im going to throw up or faint after, not even because Im out of shape but some bodies can't handle high heart rates for such a long time. Id rather lift heavy and slowly then pass out or throw up. Thanks for the critical review, thats what I was wondering and I'll stick to weight lifting.

Wow! This wasn’t my experience!!! It was so welcome and all trainers were so kind and modified everything for me… and it moves so quickly. This is a review of an atypical class

The first time, I went to f45 was cardio day, I went to the restroom during class to throw up 😞I was out of shape. I decided to joined and I love it. Hybrid and Strength days are my favorite. The instructions in our gym are very involved and motivating.

5:40 all the classes have a different pattern which I love!!!

That would definitely not be for me. I prefer solitary, non-competitive things like hiking or walking. My primary issue is with getting started and having someone hector me would just piss me off. Seriously, I'm 5'4 and over 200 pounds! No one in their right mind should expect me to keep up with an actual athlete!

One class isn't gonna do it. Do a few months. You'll start to see they have weight days and cardio days. On the weight days you can go slow and heavy and the cardio days you can work on that. It's not a bodybuilding gym, it's a fitness gym, which is what most people really need if they're being honest with themselves

I like the concept of this a lot but I understand why people wouldn't. I like the group/team aspect (I'm a single guy always looking to meet friends especially with similar fitness interests) and I've been an athlete my whole life. I've been much more of a lifter for years so I need to work on cardio which I also like. The chaos that seems to ensue is problematic for me, even though I likely have done every exercise they can come up with here. I wonder if this is the same at every site?

This sounds like military boot camp.
Or something you do to prep for a marathon run.

Sounds chaotic and 19 stations seems like a lot and like i would feel rushed (especially as a person who definetely gets gymxiety😂)..it says the tuesday, thurs, sun classes are resistance training which is what im interested in becuz i already do cardio on my own...when ur wife goes on those days, is it focused on resistance training?

Plenty of cardio, and exercise, with physical labor.not only do you get a workout, but ya get work done also.cutting firewood is a good one.

Go to a real gym. Cheaper, more variety, they offer similar classes for free along with many others.

I feel like he is being unfair.

I understand that it might be a lot of stations but unless you don't have an athletic bone in your body or are uncoordinated, it's not bad to keep up with the workouts.

I am currently in really bad shape myself, i just started working out consistently since 5 years and I was not sore for 1 week after 1 workout.

I honestly believe this type of training is good for people who are starting out, wanting to lose weight and want to build discipline.

Anyone who is an advanced lifter, I would not recommend F45. Everyone else who is wanting to better themselves and get healthy again, I would definitely recommend

It’s just a work out. A training session is different I coach groups and are by far different than 19 stations
