The Volvo XC90 is still the best model even in 2025. It's been quite a while since the last redesign. Almost no changes have been made to this midsize SUV since Volvo launched the second generation of the three-row luxury vehicle in 2015. A few minor adjustments were made. A number of changes were made to the SUV's trim levels and drivetrain configurations over that time. Automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning are just some of the standard safety features found on the XC90. A head-up display, adaptive cruise control and night vision are configurable additions. The 2025 Volvo XC90 offers a lot of customization potential due to its wide range of powertrain options. The modernized Thor's Hammer HD LED headlights have daytime running lights that mechanically open to reveal the headlight assembly, along with new LED fog lights arranged in a vertical stack below the headlights. The larger lower air intake is complemented by a restyled upper grille. The SUV is expected to have similar proportions. The 2025 model may be slightly longer and wider than the previous model. Even with a three-row SUV layout, the XC90 can carry seven people. The rear has not undergone many changes, and the only thing that may change is the addition of new LED lights which are the same size as the existing model.
