This great song by "Smokey Robinson" was released in 1981 and made number 1 here in the UK charts and number 2 in the U.S, and this song was on the Motown label and there sure are some great songs that have been released on that label. Hmm i love the lyrics to this one..

When I was a teenager, this song was playing all over the radio dial. It was this song that got me interested in the music of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.

How unusual, this song was released the year I was born (1981) and I only first heard it on the radio in 2008! I was 27 then. If there was an album called Now That’s What I Call Sad Songs, this song would surely be included. It’s probably not for all tastes, but I like it for being what it is really.
