I love mine, I got it for indoor dog fights with my wife. It's fun if you have a couple small drones with fully caged rotors, like a little flying game of tag. Mine hovers just fine after trimming, turn the speed switch to high and have fun.

I can pull all the tricks inside, and it's very responsive. Maybe you got a bad one? Holy Stone customer service is second to none, I own 4 of them and have yet to receive a bad one.

This is a funny little drone that you can fly indoors with no concerns about bumping into walls or people. It very durable.

Got one "in the mail". Hope mine isn't flaky. The first part made me remember my Hubsan. One strange and short lived experience. LOL.
But I think I can get really good wi-fi environment going. Probably won't do much for latency though. Oddly enough, you actually "can" adapt to latency- just go slow and work up in speed.
I also have a HoverAir... you want to talk latency. Almost impossible to control with phone app in free flight mode.

I’m working with a drocon ninja dc014 and it’s been great except battery lasts 5-6 minutes outside ripping in 2 nd speed and 3 rd is pretty quick . I just wish it would fly longer . The 175d rips around pretty good and flys for 20 minutes but it drops signal once in awhile . I seen a 360s on sale atm on Amazon

I just returned mine now wich one do I get there’s so many but there was a significant delay and I spent most time trimming and adjusting by time I was good battery was done then start from scratch . Don’t recommend . Was looking for a fun indoor drone for when my DJI is not flyable outside do you recommend a good one I was looking at the HS 340? What’s a good when you recommend with no latency in a good indoor flyer

I just got HS 420 (goofy app from weed?) and I love the drone itself like how the prop cages cushion the top in hard falls! But the modular batteries must be experimental as they run short times and get HOT. The main problem is the LOUSY APP that can't coordinate the video camera before take off and often not even during flight "UNCONNECTED" is usual message unexplained in manual! The app and video seems to work well only once a day, in the morning or noon maybe due to lower WiFi interference from next door houses (nobody home)?? The funny thing is my TOMZON (potensic) A24W mini has a great app and camera with none of these problems the drone, however, is jerky and less stable than hs420. Due to it's stability it's tempting to fly the 420 by FPV but the silly app's occasional laggyness so far hasn't made this possible in flight along a corridor!

That lil bit of FPV gear weight is costing it flight time and performance.

I should have watched this video first. After flying it for a bit, this drone is a hard-pass for me, too. Battery life is bad, WiFi connection finicky, control lag happens often, gyro also troublesome etc. If you’re considering this drone, don’t!
