MAST30026 Lecture 21: Coordinates in Hilbert space (Part 1)

I started the project of explicitly describing the L^2 space of the circle, by discussing the complex exponential functions and proving they are linearly independent and dense, building on our earlier work with Stone-Weierstrass and trigonometric polynomials.
