Absolutely fine to disagree pal. Just been told from my stream you'd done the video. Let's sit down in a studio and do a video on it. My actual video wasn't as clear and cut as the clip that went out. I think it's coming. I don't agree with it but it's coming. But I also said it should be a fan's decision and the Premier League can't just go ahead like the Super League without consulting.

i am an extreme Liverpool fan, but live in Australia. it is a life long dream to watch a Liverpool match, but i agree with your view 100%.football is made to showcase the pride of a community, and how are you to show this pride overseas. the life long fans should be the FIRST PRIORTY.

this can only be settled with a vizeh vs mark goldbridge boxing match

Like you already said it on Twitter, Viz...the entire point of football clubs existing in first place is to represent their community. Plain and simple.

As a liverpool fan who (unfortunately) lives in America, i fucking despise the idea of playing a premier league match in America. Of course i would love to watch a liverpool game without having to wait till christmas time for a break in school and traveling all the way to england, which is what i've done previously, it just doesn't make sense. the Premier league is ENGLAND's domestic leauge, why play a domestic league game in a different country that has much less interest in the sport in the first place. If any football/liverpool fan in america wants to watch a official game they should go to england to do so, very simple. It also makes it much more difficult for players who will have to fly to america for 1 game then go back to england in a schedule that is already packed and many people already complain about.

All of these PL "Summer series" games are just a test run for them actually having real meaningful games overseas

As an Arsenal fan from India, I would much rather watch one watch at Emirates in a year instead of watching them play at any random stadium. It's a London club, it represents the culture of that area which you can never experience elsewhere.

As a local Everton fan who already can’t afford to go to every game because of ticket prices, this would be hellish. I’ve been saving up for 2 years to have enough money to ensure I get a ticket for the final game at Goodison and make a day of it, but if they started doing this overseas matches shite it would cause ticket prices for matches at home to be even more expensive because there’s less supply to meet the demand and could potentially price me out of getting to go to Goodison one last time. It’s a disgrace to the sport.

Goldbridge was against the Super League but, he's not against the odd game or two being played in America. This would be the start of the Super League.

One minor correction. Games here in the USA aren’t 80-100 dollars for the preseason games. I wish they were that cheap. They’re 150-200 for the cheapest

Honestly as an American fan I get it. We have football (American egg ball) games played overseas now and while I get that it's great for international fans of the sport it sucks for us here. A lot of us are already priced out and can barely go to one game HERE. Now theres less chances for us to go.

The beauty of sports to me, besides the competition, is watching a team you feel represents you and what you feel is home. Nothing gets me going more then gathering with my fellow new yorkers and cheering the Giants or any other home sports team!

As an American who hates American soccer and loves European football way more like the EPL and Bundesliga. It makes ZERO sense to have domestic games in another country. It’s the ENGLISH premier league. I’ve watched Liverpool here in the US for preseason games numerous times, I’ve traveled to England 10+ times to go see a LFC game while traveling etc. yeah it sucks bc it cost a shit ton of money to do so, but I totally agree. Leave domestic leagues alone. They don’t need to be played anywhere but the country they are located in. Period. I’d also like to add that not All Americans are idiots when it comes to football. Yes if you’re on social media it’s embarrassing, but there’s lots of Americans like myself who love and respect the sport for what it is. And as far as being able to see every game, that’s a complete myth. For example, I have YouTube tv 79.99. I get to only see a few games a week. If I wanted to watch deomestic cups like FA cup and Carabao cup I would need ESPN Plus which is 11.99 a month. If I wanted to watch Champions league I would need Paramount Plus which is 9.99. So in order to watch a majority of games I would be spending over 100 dollars a month. That doesn’t include some international games that aren’t played and that only includes English premier league + champions league + 1/2 Bundesliga games.
The only thing I disagree with is that you cant be a “real” fan if you live in another country. That’s rubbish. Yes football clubs are a representation of their communities but as an American who is a massive Liverpool fan, it’s not my fault my mom and dad were American and not scouse hahaha

Got to agree with mark to a point on this one as someone who's been to a fair amount of Manchester united games (both home and away) but doesn't have the disposable funding to go see every single united game. Why not get rid of the 3pm blackout. It's disgusting that it's a thing in general. But as for hosting a game overseas. I do think that is stupid and unnecessary.

As an American, and obsessed with the premier league, I think we dont deserve the games. It doesn’t add anything to the game, just like the NFL doesn’t need to be going to London or Munich or anywhere!

As an American I don’t like this, I’m a big Chelsea supporter and I can’t wait to visit Stamford Bridge for the first time. I feel like if I was to watch Chelsea live any other way it would be a less special and magical experience.

The thought of playing matches overseas is so absurd. It’s gonna end up with each team making some global tour every single season. It’s ridiculous
