Tweed Heads Shiplift repairs & maintenanc

In February 2024 we sailed to Tweed Heads to undertake our much needed repairs to the area below the waterline. This involves being lifted out by a Shiplift and being placed on a hard stand for the required amount of time. it went very well and I have no hesitation in recommending the Tweed Heads Shiplift for your boating maintenance.

That prop and shaft damage looks to have occurred during the lift. It's very easy to not get the strap correctly between the rudder and the propeller and if the strap lifts on the propeller alone then you will get this damage. This looks to be a yard problem and could never have occurred in the water.
