I live here and my dad has worked here almost his whole professional life and he does not dress like this! I don't think he wears his old tee shirts unless he is doing wood working. 😂 people have all different kinds of styles here, it's really not all like this video. Of course some people dress this way, but honestly there are many different ways people dress so I don't think this video accurately represents it well at all.

Tbh silicon valley fashion is better than formal fashion simply because it levels the playing field. Formal clothing is expensive and can be difficult to buy. Silicon valley fashion can be replicated at a thrift store or cheap clothing retail.

Interesting... the tech workers (Microsoft, Amazon, etc) in Seattle are all dressed more like the "venture capitalist" in this video. Men and women alike wear simple but expensive pieces. Never just jeans and t-shirts.
