Freddie's voice is so ridiculously powerful and clean. Folks, this was in the days before proper inner ear monitoring, you just got blasted by auxillary monitors. To sing so beautifully and so accurately in a stadium like that is just mind boggling. Truly one of the best voices EVER in rock/pop.

Queen live in Montreal is one of their best. The sound is distorted on this which is a shame as Freddie sounded so good in this concert.

Love how John Deacon opens this song with his bass and the crowd goes wild. Always epic.

It's song like this where you see how well Freddie and Roger used their voices together live.

Love these lyrics:

'Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And love (people on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves under pressure

It always amazes me how spot-on Freddie's voice was live. Even other legendary singers like Plant, you can hear there's a difference in their voice between the ideal conditions of the studio and their live performances, but with Freddie, he sounds exactly the same. The power and energy in his voice was unbelievable.

This may be their best run-through of Under Pressure. His voice is golden. God I wish I could hear them live.

It breaks my heart that there's a disease slowly destroying Freddie's beautiful body and voice and he had no idea while he was performing here. Fuck. Freddie was the ultimate showman.
