I Can’t Believe They Added AI To The Browser

AI is constantly growing in popularity, but implementing even basic AI into your own applications can be difficult and expensive. That is why I am excited that AI capabilities are being added to browsers as free built in features. In this video I will show you how these tools work and how you can use them in your application with less than 10 lines of code.

This is great, but I have a fear. This advancement will fuel the browsers war. Different browsers will come up with their own AI powered feature & thus web standards may become more & more cluttered until a standard is proposed just to maintain these. This is gonna be a wild ride.

These are fantastic features! Unfortunately I hope they don't come to fruition any time soon. Inference models hallucinate at a high enough rate that doing it with the internet as a whole is a terrible idea. Even if only 0.01% of the uses of these features include hallucinations, the results could be unnecessarily catastrophic 😩
