Я занимаюсь единоборствами не меньше 10 лет (мне 15), и самая лучшая тактика — не идти вперёд на противника, который делает сильный боковой замах и пытается сократить дистанцию, а наоборот, уклоняться, отходя назад. Я сам постоянно так делаю на тренировках. Нет смысла лезть вперёд — уклоняться гораздо стратегически правильнее, чем пытаться принять и отбить удар.

Кроме того, он напал на людей, которые несли вещи (телефон, пакеты) — человек же не будет просто бросать их, поэтому они и уклонялись. Кто-то пытается защитить голову, и это тоже правильно.
