Well, it is not possible to speak without an accent because everyone has an accent. However, it is very much possible and desirable to speak with the accent of someone whose native language is that language. To say otherwise is objectively wrong.

Hi! I'd like to recommend a topic for a future video. It would be helpful if you could show us how to lose the habit of saying or when speaking a foreign language. I know that those verbal fillers diminish a speaker's perceived credibility and confidence. The video would be really helpful especially if one needs to make a presentation or attend a business meeting using a foreign language. Anyway, I love your channel and I hope you keep up your good work.

As a English learner, I am focusing on getting better at stress.. It's quite difficult to practice..

But the accent can be a barrier when trying to integrate one's self into a culture.... Is it not? I see it when I speak German, I might speak with a native and they will automatically know that I'm not from around here, and I guess it is harder for people to see you for who you really are when their first impression of you is that you are a foreigner... I try to elminate my accent as much as possible and I guess with time it will get better, or at least good enough so that it is not the first thing someone notices when I'm trying to have a conversation...

Where is the line between having an accent and talking "badly" though? I've been thinking about that since I'm worried that people can't understand me because of my (I believe strong) accent

I'm an Afrikaner trying to learn German and I can say some words but I can't lose that slight South African accent so that isn't wrong?
