Thanks for insights into PS Beta. Like others I can't believe it's taken so long to get this but, equally, I didn't even know I needed it! Very useful. Adobe is definitely moving towards making the functionality simpler and more intuitive giving us time to concentrate on the interpretive side of image manipulation. Thanks so much for sharing this information with us and the "live gradient" really caught me attention. I have been colorizing family and ww2 historical pics lately and the live gradient will be perfect for skies and ocean or skies and a uniform foreground. Keep up the good work!

I have a new iMac M3 and the latest Adobe Photoshop 2024. I downloaded Adobe Photoshop Beta. The "Live Gaussian Blur" is not there! I love this feature as you explained it.

When Adobe went to the subscription model I was not enthusiastic but after having it since the beginning it is likely the best value of any other suite of editing platforms. The additions and AI-driven tools are so useful and powerful, not gimmicks at all.
I no longer need the other applications such as Dreamweaver and graphics programs since I am not needing to create graphics and websites anymore. But two sites that need some modernization so went to look at Dreamweaver again and it really has not been updated but much and is now $20/month for a year obligation. That makes the Photographers bundle the bargain of the century and even more so with all the great improvements such as the accuracy of object selection and masking functionality in Lightroom that reduce the need to switch back and forth to PS. How can the competition match the innovation and speed of improvements?

great features, thanks Colin you always explain the new features with ease so we can understand. this is probably a stupid question but why beta, why is this not just in a regular photoshop.upgrade. Another download...I am not a tech person so please be kind to my ignorance

In the example of the bird in the harbour if you masked the bird first can you then use the live blur tool?
