Thank you for this video. I am a 23 year old man who was fighting in the Sudan Crisis on the side of the Rapid Support Forces. I joined the group after my failures in school, and parents encouragment to find a job. Seeking better pay, I would join the paramilitary group instead of the Sudanese Armed Forces, officially joining in 2020. During my platoons operation in the Nuba Mountains with an operation assigned to dissuade local uprisings against the Rapid Support Forces in the region. We had an American journalist named Ethan with us in Al Kur, who watched YouTube Shorts by a surplus, showing it off to fellow members of the platoon. While on a search and destroy mission to arrest locals suspected of having arms or have plotting any form of revolts, we were ambushed by what I saw about 20 gunmen, though may have been more. I can't exactly remember what happened but I remember that everything had went white while my ears had rang. I think it was a grenade. From the event, I was forced to take refuge in a house a bit away from where the gunmen were. After I managed to escape with a few others, the gunmen had began to search, shooting anyone they found. While the group was about to search the house me and my companions were hiding in, the American Journalist had played this video on full audio which had distracted the soldiers enough for me. to run to a nearby road where I managed to get to a town with a hospital. From there I was able to return the the RSF Forward Operating Base. Because of my injuries retained by the grenade I was unable to fight, which had resulted in me with no money at all. Eventually I had crossed the border into the Central African Republic then into Cameroon where I had hitched a ride on a goods ship going to Brazil. In Brazil I had began to gamble and trade for things I would sell at pawnshops, eventually allowing me to save up to travel to the U.S.A, though when I had first arrived in Florida I became homeless, as I didn't have enough money to support myself. So using an old phone I got for 60$ I had watched this video and gained the motivation to rebuild my life, and make it the best. In light of this new motivation, I had opened a local shop displaying the traditional foods, and foods from the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia as I had tried these foods while in Brazil. This allowed me to make lots of money, and had gave me the ability to open a restaurant.
