Gudaf Tsegay breaks women's 5000m world record by nearly five seconds

Ethiopia’s Gudaf Tsegay broke the world record in the women's 5000 meters at the Prefontaine Classic, running the distance in 14:00.21 and beating her personal best by almost 12 seconds. The previous record of 14:05.20 was set by Kenya’s Faith Kipyegon earlier this year in Paris.
