Will Chase is hands down my favorite Chris. He is such a perfect fit for the role. So talented and full of raw emotion. And his chemistry with Lea?! They are both incredible.

I was fortunate enough to watch this Manila production back in 2000 at CCP with Lea Salonga & Will Chase— our university required us to see it for an assignment. It instantly became my favorite musical. Last night I went to Solaire to see it for the second time after 24 years. Nothing beats the original of course, but the new cast was still brilliant. And it reminded me again that Miss Saigon is still my favorite musical after all these years.

I had the luxury of seeing backstage of the show in the West end and then have great seats to watch the performance and I just cried my eyes out ( I was in a known amateur dramatic society with a director who knew many in the west end otherwise I would never have had the opportunity) I saw it once more as a birthday present from my parents for my 18th. I am now 47 and haven't been able to see it again so thank you for posting this.

Watching Miss Saigon for the first time in 2025! I can’t believe all these years I had never heard of it! Will Chase and Lea are INCREDIBLE. Even though I already knew the ending, it took me days to get over it—Will’s acting at the very end felt SO real!! 😢 It’s definitely one of my top favorite musicals now. 🔥🌅

I think Will Chase was the perfect actor to play Chris - the american g.i. He has blonde hair and blue eyes that fits perfectly for the character. And he has great manly singing voice. I just find his voice very masculine than other actors who played Chris.

That little look Chris gives Kim at 15:17 😂 He’s like “you alright?” Trying to read her emotions/cheer her up after that soldier tried to approach her. I also love how he keeps looking over his shoulder to make sure that guy won’t ever bug her again. As long as she’s in his arms, she’s safe. 💕💕
