I also love that michael does have a fondness for cafes (as proven by him asking sasha to meet him at one, and then the insomnia lady going into what seemed to be a Distorted-TM cafe where her tooth fell out), So him trapping someone in an inescapable warped mcdonalds is not only something he absolitely would do, but is very likely cannon lmao. Also considering Helen in the eyepocalypse ran a hellish hotel where she showed people around (similar to her job as a real estate agent showing people around houses) its highly likely Michael was a barista when he was younger (probably right before he got the archival assistant position)
