iPhone 17 Air Idea is Growing On Me…

Apple and Samsung both see this as an opportunity as there is some demand for a thinner big phone. One of the reasons why some people do not like bigger phones is because of the thickness. A slimmer profile could entice some to try a big phone for the first time or give it a second chance.

I have 5G disabled and use 4G/LTE instead to save battery. Cellular data connection is by far the biggest drain.

I gotta say, I don't see this iPhone 17 Air only having one rear camera and one speaker. The trend we've seen with the iPad Pro and the Apple watch series 10 was that they not only have the same capabilities as previous devices but more in a thinner and sleeker form factor. I feel like Apple wants to make devices that, while thinner, are just as capable as the thicker devices. I'd bet that the 17 Air will come with a decent sized battery, dual cameras, and stereo speakers but still incredible thinness for an iPhone with those specs (my guess is 6-6.5 mm)

I’m still of the thought that it’s way more likely that the “iPhone 17 air” rumors are CADs for the 17 pros which makes wayyy more sense than a “air” model. Apple literally made the iPad pros thinner and we know apple wants to go back to slimmer form factors across a lot of their devices

Honestly, in an age where I can charge my phone virtually anywhere I go if need be, the idea of a slimmer iPhone really appeals to me without any negative feeling for slightly less battery power

I'm currently enjoying flipping the sim back and forth between the 13 mini and the 13 pro whenever the smaller or bigger phone fits my current activity. And I came back to these two after a year with the 15 pro Max. Very satisfied.

Honestly, working next to a convenient point of charging all the time, having a qi2 wireless charger in my car, and have a 20k watt battery in my work backpack made me realize maybe a slim light big phone is not a crazy idea.

I really want a slim iphone, so sick of them being heavy and bulky. I want somewhere between a 6 and 6.6 inch slim, maybe 150 grams max with a new silicon battery that lasts and a 120 hz screen

I ended up getting the Torres case because of u, over my traditional everything apple pro case. Im so glad i did, i dont see myself going back
