Jesus the Word | John 1:1-3 | Advent 2018 (Part 1)

Everybody loves the Christmas season! The historical details of the first nativity make for a great story that we relish and retell year after year. This year, we're spending the advent season with Jesus' beloved disciple, John. He will help us take a step back to get some cosmic perspective. Jesus is the infant in the manger; before He is the Messiah of Israel, the son of David, of the tribe of Judah, He is the eternal Word, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Great I AM, the Creator of the universe. This is the one who has come into the world!
