Webinar: Understanding Open Science

Open Science is an approach to the scientific process that focuses on spreading knowledge as soon as it is available using digital and collaborative technology.

EURAXESS Australia & New Zealand in collaboration with Taylor & Francis, present a webinar to demystify Open Science.

The focus of the session will be on key areas around sharing data, code, preprints, registered reports and open peer review. We will also discuss "Open Research Europe" which is a peer-reviewed publishing platform for research stemming from Horizon Europe funding across all subject areas.

Matt Cannon is the Head of Open Research for Taylor & Francis based in the UK. He helps set journal policies and establishes best practice to increase the reproducibility and transparency of research. He is a member of the Research Data Alliance, FORCE11 and on the steering group of the STM Publishing Association’s Research Data Project.
