I mean are kids really that responsible to have literal gods in their squads? I mean honestly, I believe 30 is a very appropriate age for people to get their first pokemon, not something like 10 or 11. If anything, to become a pokemon trainer I personally say that a person must be at least 30 years old, have a degree in poke-biology, did at least some field research in either the daycare, the poke-center, and/or the safari zone, and then, and only then, could they receive their first pokemon and go on a quest to catch ‘em all… right after you sign some paperwork involving some of the requirements for your training and work, and if you break anything in that contract you get all of your Pokémon and Pokémon related items taken away, and depending on the severity, possibly even some fines or jail times.
