The Navigators purpose is “to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same”; this describes the center and direction of the ministry.

From the beginning, we have sought not only to reach people for Christ but to equip them so that they, in turn, can help fulfill Christ’s commission to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). This happens through the model of life-to-life discipleship, creating spiritual generations of believers.

I was with the navigators Bible study group Okinawa Japan USMC 1988. 1989 I was with navigators San Diego California until the summer of 90 when I moved back to New York at the end of my active duty. Had a lot of fun with them and miss them. I still have the Bible given to me in Okinawa.

This is a discipleship ministry where everyone can share the goodness of God and reach out people for His glory.

Could you please explain how the Navigators are different than other Christian churches who do active reach out and have missionaries?
