My dad once bout Hilti rotary hammer back in 2001. He once accidentally dropped it off a 7th floor of the house down on the asphalt. A little dint on a plastic and it still works to this day

Yes the Hitachi drilled one hole faster but you may want to consider that the Hilti has a much low vibration exposure allowing the user to work in more comfort for longer. The Hilti will also be drilling holes for many years after the Hitachi has given up

Skewed test. The guy with Hilti couldn’t drill a straight hole if his life depended on it and was binding up the bit. Secondly he was applying too much downward force and not letting the tool do the work. I have no preference to either tool but could plainly see the test wasn’t conducted equally. This proves nothing other than that guy has no clue on operating a Rotary hammer 🤭

I own Hitachi DH 50 MB since 2003. We drilled a hole for 3 1/2 solid hours this year and it was the worst experience of my life. Chuck got so hot couldn’t get the bid out took it to Hitachi. They fixed it for 300 and something dollars and I drilled another hole and it fucked up again anyway it was a great tool, but I’m buying a Hilti

Hitachi weighs 7.5kg hilti 7.8kg. Hitachi has 11joule impact energy and hilti 7.8joules. Perhaps hilti Will Last little longer in use but i would recommend lighter stronger and probably cheaper hitachi. I also believe that long term cost is cheaper in hitachi.

How many Hitachi hammer drills do you see on construction sites?

El operador de HILTI es un ingeniero no tiene ni idea de trabajar un aparato de esos de tanta calidad.

Not a fair test. Anyone can see that, man with the Hilti wasn't drilling straight?? No comparison between the two machines, the Hilti is the superior drill. It'll outlast any other machine 4 or 5 times over.

I am tiered to see this in all tool comparison, whan you buy a preofessional expensive tool is not perfornce you pay for, but reliability. I work with hilti 5 days a week, a rotary hammer lasts years of abuse, i had other more affordable brands but they are not as durable. For a prefessional is too expensive to have low quality tools

If it was the Hilit over the Hitachi the Hilit would win like in this one Hitachi won

The two machines are not equal!
One has more impact force than the other, so it's normal to break through the concrete faster!
The Hikoki machine has 10.5 joules of impact and this model and generation of Hilti only has 7.3 joules of impact, so the battle is not equal!
