You are brave for trying! I don’t know why pattern markets this brush as a detangling shower brush. It’s made like the denman brush which is only for styling/blow drying. I’ve even seen the looser texture influencers on instagram say that it’s only used for styling.

Ever since you put me onto the Unbrush, I haven't looked anywhere else. Especially as a 4c girl, it was difficult finding the right tool to detangle my thick coarse textured hair.

I dont blame you. There's been times where those brushes would leave me scalp tingling. I have thick 4c hair and I stick to a wide tooth comb because I be half scared to pull the hair out my head. 😂

I have never used that brush to detangle. It does not work on looser textures, but it does work to style and clump curls.

I have thick hair not thick like yours but there is a good amount. I struggle with brushing my hair cut it gets so tangled and I'm very tender headed. But watching this video helps me get a good idea of an good hair routine. Ty ❤❤❤❤

That BRUSH was my first Pattern purchase and I so wish that I’d not allowed the tie frame to pass for the RETURN allowance. It actually pulls more hair out than anything. The only use I’ve had is when blow drying my hair. Makes me wonder what type of hair was it designed and made for.😢

That brush is for after you run the wide tooth comb, thru wet hair. That brush will have your curls curling

You can take some of the rows out of the Pattern brush like every other row

Detangling only works if your ends have been trimmed, otherwise it will definitely pull and cause more tension.
