My theory is that Bonnie is blurple.

I think he was originally intended to be blue but the lighting of the original game made him look more purple. So he kind of shifts between blue and purple in everything lol.

He's canonically blue, but bc of the lighting and how he was colored, he looks indigo.

To my knowledge, Scott confirmed that Bonnie is blue, It’s just the lighting that made him purple.

I’ve always preferred the idea of Bonnie being Purple, and while I can see a slight hint of a darker blue in there (and understand some ppl viewing colours differently it’ll just look more blue to them), through a design perspective I think him being purple fits better with the color combo of all of them together (brown, purple and yellow, blue can go well with yellow but purple feels more right here imo)
