Yet it was an instant bestseller, with even Beyonce admitting it 'worked for me'. Now, authors Ellen Fein (65) and Sherrie Schneider (63) are back with a new, revised guide, ‘The Rules Handbook’- and it's more controversial than ever! Sherrie joins us live from New York to discuss the updated version.

The rules of dating are very powerful, and there are so many insights, esp in the latest Handbook. Whenever I spoke to a man first, it always led to the pain and hurt eventually. Just don't do that! The same applies to texting - the less, the better. My practice shows that all the rules work just according to the book.

What a load of nonsense, why write this? if I didn't show any interest with the guys I've dated in the past and my current partner I wouldn't be in an almost 5 year relationship I wouldn't be with him right now, we open up about our problems, mentally and emotionally and we are close, living a lie and being unhappy in a stone cold relationship with no emotion and NOT sharing everything together is not good advice or being happy, this must be written in the 1900s or something, so old fashioned and 1 sided I don't want to continue with this anymore smh
