Who is the Seventh Siren? [Borderlands Discussion]

Originally, there were six sirens in all the universe. Now, there are seven. So who is the Seventh Siren of Borderlands? Is it a character we know? Is it someone we have yet to meet?

what if Fiona and Rhys let out the 7th when they opened the vault in the traveller?
"you must never find the 7th" kind of makes it seem like it was hidden just like Nyriad, and if the 7th is so dangerous that even a leech would warn you about it, where else is better to hide it than in a vault that travels and "can't" be found.
Could be an explanation of why Fiona is missing and even her sister, maybe she has gone looking for her or something, knowing something is wrong and off about her.

Interesting. I agree that Phaseleech Siren is the Seventh since she is unknown to the common world and her ability is the most dangerous ability among the Sirens so far. Minus Phaseleech, we only know 4 Siren abilities so far. Steele and another unknown Siren have their own unique abilities too.

It has already been debunked that Phaseleech is not the 7th siren. This is because of where the logs are found, which is inside the fault in which Nyriad imprisson herself. Does not make sense for her to give a warning not to find the seventh if obtaining the log would already mean that someone has found the seventh.

Maybe we've already found the seventh, maybe missing is the sixth as she might have referred to. I mean sirens doesn't have a number on their back

You misquoted Jack in part of your theory, he doesn't say he knows six sirens he says: "Only six Sirens can exist in the universe at any given time, and I already know of three." The six sirens bit seems to just be some legend/lore he's been told and imo doesn't indicate that phaseleech is the 7th (might be - we can't know yet, but HJ isn't offering any proof here).

They 7th siren is the siren who gains all the powers of each siren. Which would make her the 7th since her powers are now a combo of all the other siren abilities

The fact that the monster in the vault where Nyriad died has 7 heads is very interesting. Maybe to represent the 7 sirens?

Each of Nyriad's logs are prognostic in context, not contemplative. Your also missing the proving grounds guardian statements which refer to a Master still giving orders and referencing someone still being imprisoned. Meaning there is likely one siren locked away and one other out in the universe.

Think about it we witnessed each of there supposed deaths and revivals and we witnessed and listed to Nyardias message and we killed the twins hence transferring it to us

Possibly, but we have only seen five siren "abilities" in the games: Walk, Lock, Shift, Trance, and Leech in the games, and then whatever Steel was (maybe the Animal one like in a comic, but I don't know if that's cannon or not). I think there is probably another siren ability and a seventh siren....

There seem to be more than 6, as inspired by Greek Sirens, there are actually 8 in Greek mythos. We only knew of six, and now the Seventh, and possibly might be an Eighth? But who knows?

So for me we know six of the seven: Phaseshift, Phasewalk, Phaselock, Phasetrance, Phaseleech, and Phasebeast. We never got to know Steeles powers and I think hers is the 7th power we dont know. When Nyriad says “never find the 7th” I think she was referring to herself. She says she felt the universe would be better off without a leech and locks herself away, meaning she didnt want them to find her and unleash her power, because PhaseLeech can steal other siren powers. Sooo pretty much we have met a siren with the other power but we never saw it or know who inherited it.

Finally! Someone who actually reads the lore and understands it instead of taking things at face value. After hearing the Eridian writings for the first time I understood tyreen to be the seventh. Thank fuck somebody is vocal enough to explain this as its so frustrating when people speculate the other direction than thinking logically
