Unboxing Antique Portuguese Folk Costume

It's pretty rare for me to find Portuguese folk costume pieces, since I live in the US, so I was absolutely stunned to find this skirt and apron set on ebay for less than $50. These garments, handmade about a century ago (I think?) are bright and interesting. What's your favorite detail?

It's beautiful 😍! I could not get near it- highly allergic to wool. 😢
