Since middle school I have known two things strongly. That I am a Christian and I love heavy metal. That love of heavy metal very rarely led to me meeting friends who shared my faith. I always found it hard to truly be moved by many bands lyrics, especially the ones that are outright hateful or Anti-Christian. I was introduced to Demon Hunter about 3-4 years ago by a co-worker who was both a Christian and loved metal. Their songs have instilled in me some of the deepest emotions I have ever felt while listening to music and given me strength to not only fight through the tough points in my life but given me the will to try and pass that strength on to others I see struggling. The lyrics about acknowledging that the world can be a difficult and even cruel place at times while simultaneously defiantly refusing to give up hope strike to my very core.

Thank you for the work you do, both in keeping/spreading the faith and providing your positive message through music that, lets all be honest, stands as some of the best in the genre.
