i did a bachelor degree on information systems back in 2010, but i never followed programming. i sticked with networking enginerring and some of sort of it security information MSP services. One doubt that i always had back then was how could i bring a program script to life - aka executable - well, i am back studying for ethical hacking and i came across some CS scripts exploits and i need to at least know how handle them. Very nice video!

Really appreciate the information, I'm trying to streamline my workflow right now and find that my IDE can often be more trouble than it's worth, so this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Having said that, the video seems pretty unfocused on what it's trying to do. If a person is to the point of wanting to compile their C# programs from the command line, they probably don't need an extended explanation of using statements that includes a detour to google to look up the documentation of the System namespace just so you can write a hello world.
