The first time my cat did this I was really surprised at the sound and reaction. It's interesting that all cats seem to have this same reaction. However, I do this too when I see Oreo crust cheesecake.

Oh my goodness, their cute cute faces when they do this! Lol! Precious. My cat does this every morning we open the curtains and she does her morning stretches and notices the little birds outside her window. She's got to tell them who's boss. LOL!

If there's one thing that drives my Siamese absolutely bananas, it's a moth in the room. I have to shut him out and remove the moth, or he'd wreck the room and probably himself.
