I have a ton of Hardware Studios buildings and hadnt noticed that plexiglass slot forvwindows, how cool

These look really great, beautiful sculpting. They strike me as a bit large in scale. I remember seeing this terrain with the snow mat video and thinking the buildings look quite large next to the mechs. I have a bunch of Steel Warrior terrain, I'd be interested in a side by side comparison

So havent watched the entire video, im on about 4:11 and ur talking about spray painting the plexi-glass. Let me give you an alternative that I think you will like better. 1 get a dye from the local hobby shop (Micheals, Hobby Lobby w/e that you would use for cloth or better yet glass dye) 2 warm a suitable vat of water (probably some sort of nasty tuperware the wife was going to toss BUT NOT SOMETHING YOU WILL EVER COOK OR PUT FOOD IN AGAIN) the temp should be uncomfortable to skin, steaming ect. 3 place your dye and plexi in there and make sure that as you lose heat to build it back up. If you've a crock pot thats perfect place water in it surrounding the vat ur using with dye, Microwave the vat from time to time just whatever works to make sure the vat with dye stays hot, but not so hot you are warping ur plexi. When you get the saturation of color to plexi, pull it out. This is how we dye non-rx sun glasses colors like rose colored sunglasses ect.

Terrain video?! Good idea with the textured spray paint. Those buildings look sweet. Did I miss it in the beginning, but are these plastic or resin? Keep this series coming please! Thanks Aaron!

Useful to see the variety of buildings from Hardware Studios. Working on my first building presently. Great detail with your spray and brush work with those, especially that glass and diodes.

Thanks for the link. Some buildings or at least the plans might have to buy. Some of their vehicles though I've been thinking about doing a campaign where a decent part of it is on the coast of a world and been wanting some blue water ships for it. The Vengeance in particular might have to buy in a check or two as it seems to be the Arrow IV / Vtol carrier I want. Some good stuff as far as aero space cargo assets as well for air basses and logistics missions.

I’m normally not one to enjoy urban terrain but these look phenomenal...I’ll have to grab a few pieces to use maybe a board edge or a small outpost.

Now I have mechs, infantry, and a few vehicles.

Gotta find a couple of cheap (BV wise) transport helicopters or vtol aircraft and then I’ll be set for a while...hopefully COVID ends in 2021 so I can start getting games in person.

Several of these big buildings remind me of the mega-blocks from Dredd! Looks great, and definitely add to the flavor of your battle reports.

On a side note, any word yet on the Veteran lance battlytics challenge?

Awesome stuff. I have several pieces from him and they are great. I love what you did with the diodes and the antennas. I used to play bass and I find that the old strings make great antennas. Have you considered using actual LEDs to light them? I did that with some of mine and they really take the game table to the next level. Last time we played I had the Hardware Studios mech bay lit up and placed a bluetooth speaker inside that played ambient battle sounds during the game. Loving your content as usual!

Great video. Those are some really cool pieces. Where do you guys get your battle mats?

I got the lance carrier dropship model from them, and it's excellent.

Typically most modern buildings are anywhere from 13' to 16' per floor. So it's suffice to say that if Mech's are 2-3 floors tall you're looking at 40-50' tall.

Love the stuff from Hardware Studios. Has Kevin printed any of their stl files? Curious as to how well they come out.
