Jeez, these guys are tryin to kill me with stress. Thank God the Rangers and Mariners are doing even slightly worse deflecting the horrible reality of the Astros recent play. We have a chance to snatch victory from defeat. Clearly the Rangers were too afraid. Now we see the Mariners choking on the smell of success and the Astros are the happy recipients. We were swept by the Yankees, a last place team. We lost 2 of 3 to the A's, a last place team, We lost 2 of 3 to the Royals, a last place team. Do any of you think we are a championship team? Where is Dusty Baker in getting these guys motivated to win? Where is the changing of lineups to get winner out there? Why is Maldonado NOT on the bench? I love Dusty, but its time to retire with his toothpick. We are not champions at this point. We don't have the heart of champions this year. Our three games with the Orioles will show us a lot. We will be lucky to still be in the playoffs after that. No confidence.
