I am very sorry about the weird scrolling lines over the video, for some reason my camera wouldn't adjust to the light of the elevator. Anyways these are the D Elevators at Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital in the Rocky Mountain Children's Hospital unit. These are the newest of the main hospital's elevators being installed somewhere around the year 2007. One feature I think is very unique on these is that the 1st floor hall station lights up green. Also, it's very odd that an older ThyssenKrupp traction elevator has call recognition. The specifications can be found below.

It looks like this elevator had some low quality LED lights that blinked at a fairly low rate, probably around 30 times per second meaning your camera could pick up the strobing effect that you eyes couldn't.

It's not common to find a ThyssenKrupp that has call recognition, and this one is no exception. Interesting that using the door hold feature allows the close button to work. Also, do you remember if there were LED or fluorescent lights in there? We may not see the flicker in person, but somehow your camera could be picking it up. It's interesting how that works.
