I got mine today because it was Alexa birthday today and I got it for $24.99 . I hope it works on our 2016 Ford Explorer because it already has a built-in microphone Bluetooth backup camera front camera. I hope it doesn't interfere with my wife's phone when hers connects to Bluetooth when she gets into the car.

I have the v1 in my car and it's excellent. You can ask Alexa to navigate to a road name or postcode and it opens up goggle maps on your phone.

The old one needed the app running all the time on your phone. If the app is not visible, Alexa did not work. For this version, do I have to keep the app running and focused on my phone?

First vid I saw using the aux port! I have an aftermarket JVC unit that the bluetooth unfortunately stopped working.

I had a Gen 1 in my previous car and it worked fine. I recently purchased a brand new vehicle and it fails to pair with the car's blue tooth. Is it true the Alexa Echo is hard to connect with cars that connect the phone through either Android Auto or iPhone Auto?

Ive ordered one only for Bluetooth calls. Is this a safe bet. My car audio mic is rubbish
