How to make quick work of wall holes using DAP Fast Dry Spackling. We're letting you in on our new go-to combo for quickly repairing small to medium-sized holes in household walls. When it comes to patching common household wall holes (from things like picture hanging hooks, drywall anchors, screws, or even dents from doorknobs), there's nothing like having a strong, quick-curing, ready-mixed product at your disposal whenever you need it. Thats why, when time is of the essence, we reach for DAP's Fast Dry Premium Spackling. When used as a first (and often ONLY) coat, it provides a remarkably strong, shockingly fast-drying base to either smooth out as a finished repair, or as a backer for a skim coat and a level 5 finish. Sure, there are catalyzed products that will dry even faster- but when it comes to ready mixed, quick-curing, easily workable (and sandable) spackling, you won't find a better one.
