I'm having a hard time understanding this description of SMT in light of ICT theory of liquidity pools. In the examples of YM, ES and NQ, since NQ is the only one to draw liquidity through buy/sell stop raids to fuel a move in the opposite direction (in addition to rebalancing any FVG before the stop raids), wouldn't you want to be in NQ over ES or YT which at best only rebalance FVGs?

Nailed it on articulating SMT.
Most fall short by just tagging the name SMT and call it a crack in corrolation.

As we have been at ATH'S, it's helpful to see the TF selection for set ups. I was scratching my head at time with this, as I found that LTF was my only option at times... Not a bad thing if the AMD is present on those LTF'S.

About that CISD, how far away can that FVG be?
On the way down to making the low, can a SIBI turned into an inversion work as well?

so you were bullish because you saw the consolidation to the downside and you chose ES because it didn't make the lower low so it was stronger? I always thought that we were supposed to look for liquidity grab to be the stronger confirmation....
