Discord seems to be slowly rolling out the new UI to users via updates - not just to those enabling the secret method (included in this video). If you get it and don't like it: This video shows you how to get back the old UI you know and love.

I hope Discord devs learn what a mess they just created by forcing mobile users into this new UI with no way to go back to the old UI. I hate the new UI.

Unfortunately they have now removed this option entirely, and it is no longer possible to disable their stank ass new UI.

For anyone getting here recently, this is no longer true, as discord explicitly removed the ability to revert the UI in their most recent update.

While YouTube UI didn't change the way it works and didn't hide the function so much, Discord suddenly did it to me and now I don't know where it is. The best thing is that the new ui cannot be changed on this old one.
I hate this new ui that's supposed to "improve your discord experience" but actually my experience is now "I want to uninstall it NOW"

I got the new layout today and unfortunately this doesn't work anymore to remove it. The button to turn it off is gone and the sparkles emoji aint working either anymore.

Immediately did this, the new UI got pushed onto my phone today & I hate it so much. Its ugly, overwhelming, confusing & far more worse to navigate.

Update - Its back, forced its way back on & the option to disable it is gone & the emote trick isn't working either. So because of that, I have completely uninstalled & won't be using mobile discord until they undo it or bring back the option to use the old UI.

Guys, for those who can't go back to the old layout at all please hear me out:

Guess what? i somehow made it, i managed to make the ''disable new layout'' thing pop up again, here's how:
- you might need 2 accounts, your main one which has this new layout, and a second one which has the old layout (a second account which you almost don't use, by preference)
- first things first, unistall discord or simply clear all data
- log into your 2nd account ( the one which has the old layout) and enable a ''debug'' option in it
- after that, log off your 2nd account and go to your first one (new layout) and check appearances > new layout, this specific part should be visible a switch to turn on/off the new layout, just disable it and give your feedback to it and thats it!

Side note: i do not garantee this thing to 100% work, if thats the case pls lemme know here and i'll try to answer asap

Side note 2: i've been told on the comment section that this method of mine did not work... i would suggest trying to find a older version of apk or something but that would be too risky to do... so i'm very sorry for those who couldn't do it
