You dressed the shredded cabbage salad with Tonkatsu sauce. Also loved the metal net under the fried Tonkatsu so the bottom doesn't lose its crunchiness. Thoughtful touch.

Matsunoya and Matsuya are different chains but belong to the same company. It's a solid choice for a meal, and you can eat tonkatsu early in the morning... For night shift people, it's a treat.

The carrot dressing is awesome. It's still cold, so tonjiru (pork miso soup) is a good upgrade 😋

i think its important for people to remember that minimum wage in japan is about 960 yen which is around $6.45 USD per hour, yes things are cheaper but so is the pay.
