INCREDIBLE Peshawar STREET FOOD (Pakistan's Best BBQ) 🇵🇰

British Couple, Jack and Paige, take on the food scene of Peshawar, Pakistan and head straight to the World Famous Nisar Khan Charsi Tikka. Welcomed warmly by the legendary Nisar Charsi himself, we laugh and have fun while the Lamb cooks over hot coals. We sit down on traditional Pakistani seating, enjoying our favourite meal and experience in Pakistan together. After a great visit to Nisar Khan Charsi Tikka, we eagerly hit the streets in search of some of the best food Peshawar city has to offer. We stumble across a stall serving Chicken Sajji but are left wanting more BBQ so we head back to Mr Charsi, for more and we devour the best Chicken Karahi by the best Karahi chef, Bilal.

‼STATEMENT ON NISAR CHARSI:

So it appears we didn't know about the history of the restaurant owner, Nisar Charsi. Although we now know what he has done in the past, I want to make it completely clear that he did nothing wrong in this video and Paige never once felt uncomfortable, she actually enjoyed the fact that someone recognised her, talked to her, had a laugh with her, gave her a high fives and even moved the male chefs out of the kitchen to let her cook on the BBQ. In Pakistan, she has rarely been recognised by anyone, people refer to her as "It" or "she" in front of her. People ask me what her name is instead of her, people ignore her if she asks somebody something, or they listen and only answer to me.

So we go to this restaurant and the old man is so friendly with her, wanting her to be involved in cooking etc. Yes he was a bit crazy and high energy, but we like these interactions. So Paige felt it was refreshing to finally take part in something rather than be the side-piece of me which she has been made to feel in a lot of Pakistan, outside Karachi.

That's the honest truth, maybe Nisar Charsi is a bad guy, but in this video he did nothing wrong and even if YOU found it uncomfortable, Paige appreciated being made to feel like a woman who can enjoy experiences while travelling like cooking on the famous BBQ.

Yes its Pakistani culture, peshwari culture etc that you feel uncomfortable, but it should also be respected that in OUR culture, European culture, this kind of behaviour, touch, welcoming behaviour is totally normal and so we enjoyed it. He didn't break OUR line, maybe he crossed over YOUR line. This is OUR experience that we share with YOU.

Come to akora khattak it's away 45 kilometre only from Peshawer, we have here some nice bazar and shops, some of the area really old and have some antiques, around here in akora khattak river, mountains. Libraries and much more. Just visits once don't miss it out.

39:54 spot on by lot of places add way too much masala, cumin etc etc. All you need is some salt, chilli peppers, and ginger (optional). Simplistic and delicious!!
