Next generation Scala builds with CBT - Jan Christopher Vogt

After two years of development, CBT, a new build tool for Scala is gaining attention and traction. It set out to deal with the slow response times and usability problems of the existing tools available and managed to achieve quite notable results. Core features are lightning fast response time, simple use of plain Scala code to describe builds in a familiar way and easy extensibility and hackability. The recently released IntelliJ IDEA and Ensime integrations removed the last big hurdles for adoption. The time has come for CBT.
