do you get the same features enabled as long as the car gets internet? because you can hotspot the car from your phone. now of course, watching netflix would kill your data allowance, so if you do long trips with the family where netflix/disney is implied, i guess the package is worth it.
also remember, you can purchase the package with referral credits, pretty cheap too.

I'm planning to go on a road trip with my family soon, and the place we're going requires passing through mountains. Before I bought my Tesla, the internet was too slow when going through the mountains, making it difficult to listen to music via Apple CarPlay or show videos to my child due to poor internet connection. If I use Premium Connectivity, will I be able to play YouTube videos without any issues even in the mountains?
