Quite a number of China users has reportingno drop or misuse of phone but screen went self damage problem, like the old V2, and they were refused warranty claim by Honor, reason was self mishandling causes screen damage.

I'm all for thinner foldables. But when it comes to durability, how good is it? Like its got to the point where it looks like you can snap/bend by just opening. What about the materials used? Something has to give to save money constructing these Chinese phones.

Cheap? I remember looking at Xiaomi Ultra & when globally released I thought I'm having that. Nearly dropped through floor when price shown. Cheap in China may be, rest of world not. Not even other Asian markets like Thailand, still an almighty rip off.

"Cheap" at 2.000 euro ?!!! It is a good phone, but, in the European version, for 2000 euros, you only get the data cable (and cover) in the package. No charger and other bonuses that I saw are in the versions for China (Asia). Not to mention that the phone does not have the latest version of the operating system and does not have AI eraser, harcourt portrait or face to face translation installed.

I was literally going to buy a Honor V3 yesterday , BUT I saw a disclaimer on my email, informing me the Reddish V3 was in stock ! , I QUOTE (this is copied off their email )
3.HONOR Magic V3 is rated as IPX8 for splash and water resistance under IEC standard 60529 and was tested under controlled laboratory conditions. Splash and water resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance may decrease over time ! Will wait for Samsung to sort their cover screen, as that was the only reason why I WAS buying the Honor !, I'm not going to lose $2000 for a phone that might mess up, and/or lose IPX resistance over time !
