I Tried Mario Odyssey's NEW Kaizo Mode

A long time ago Skelux released Superstar Mode, a harder way to play Mario Odyssey. Years later we have a new way to experience Mario Odyssey with Mario Odyssey Kaizo Mode, created by smojoycon and Redslay9. This changes the game so that every single moon in the game is harder. Some of them get crazy, so enjoy the video!

getting to see where you and CJ differ in skill is so wild, like some stages like the dragon took him SO long, and you FLEW through it, but other things he did so fast, you struggled with a bit.

The funniest moments of this were the zooming racers in Snow Kingdom and the three cutscenes and slow realization that there will be three dragons in Ruined Kingdom.

I think a couple of the hits you took during the moon bowser fight are because Bowser is slightly higher than he normally is because he’s landing on the poison waves. Those waves are what’s making him move away as you punch him and are giving him a bit more height causing his tail attacks to be near if not undodgable
